Description
Simple ECU flashing with gauge package! The new in-cabin mountable Accessport V3 has a large, full color, higher resolution screen which allows you to monitor up to six parameters in real time. Fully customizable from the look (multiple bezel colors), layout (set up race, street, or dyno gauge clusters), and mounting options (choose from 1,000s of standard vehicle mounts). And what's looks without brains? More processing power, memory, and storage to flash faster while saving all of your maps and logs. This is your new Accessport.

Why?

The Accessport is the world's best selling, most flexible, and easiest to use ECU upgrade solution for your Ford. Unlock power hidden within the vehicle by replacing conservative factory settings with more aggressive calibrations. Follow our staged upgrade path with pre-loaded Off The Shelf (OTS) maps or use custom mapping for any modification level. It's the last engine management solution you'll ever need.

Stage1 91* Gains:
Peak HP: 3% / Max HP 11%.  Peak TQ: 5% / Max TQ 11%

Stage1 93 Gains:
Peak HP: 5% / Max HP 13%   Peak TQ: 7% / Max TQ 13%

*91 Oct = 95 RON | 93 Oct = 98 RON. Peak gains are measured as the difference between the highest points of the two plots. *Largest gains are measured as the largest gain at any single point between the two plots. Results may vary.

Generally speaking, 91 octane calibrations have a richer fuel curve, and a less aggressive ignition advance map to help compensate for lower octane fuel blends such as those found in Arizona, California, and Nevada; and/or less than ideal atmospheric conditions. The maps designed for 93 octane are the most aggressive. *91 and 93 octane results are compared against a 93 octane fuel baseline. Your 91 octane results may be higher than listed above; as a baseline of 91 octane fuel may read lower than our 93 octane baseline. 87 octane results compared against an 87 octane fuel baseline. Your 87 octane results may be higher than listed above if a blend of higher octane fuel is present.

New Features (added Jan 2017)

Several new features are available with this release.  Users are required to update to the latest map revision (v110) to use these new features.  After updating, this can be done through the Restore OTS maps feature and then flashing the v110 map to your Focus RS.

Enable/Disable RDU

The Focus RS has a Rear Differential Unit that controls power output to the rear wheels.  There have been instances on the dyno (including 4wd dyno) where these vehicles respond erratically to testing.  The solution is to disable the RDU to ensure consistent pulls for testing.  This can now easily be done through the Accessport through the "Tune?€? > "Adujustments?€? > "Disable RDU (4WD Dyno)?€?/?€?Enable RDU Module?€?

COBB Custom Features ?€" Accessport Adjustments

Change CCF Map Slot

Changing Map Slots on the fly is now available on the Focus RS!  This can also be done on vehicles without cruise control.  This can be done through the "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Change CCF Map Slot?€? > and then selecting a slot.

COBB Off The Shelf maps have this feature enabled!  For the v110 maps, Slot 1 is High Performance, Slot 2 is OEM Performance, and slot 3 is Economy Mode.

Another addition to the v110 maps have Launch Control enabled!  This is a "no hassle?€? version of the factory launch control.  Simply stop, push in the clutch, put the car in first gear, and floor the gas!  Visit the map notes for the details on specific Launch Control Settings for each map slot.  These are all adjustable with custom features discussed ahead.  Note: Focus RS coolant temperature must be 170°F or greater for Launch Control to work.  This is a factory setting carried over for vehicle safety.

Change CCF TC Mode

Traction Control (TC) Mode is now user adjustable on the Accessport.  Up to 8 different modes are available to change the active Traction Control Slip Multiplier.  Changing the CCF TC Mode is available in the Accessport through "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Change CCF TC Mode?€? > and selecting the appropriate mode.  It should be noted that due to ECU limitations the last mode cannot be recorded when the vehicle is turned off.  The TC Mode will return to the default slot for each key cycle.  However, users are able to have the default slot as an ideal setting through custom tuning.

This allows users the ability to limit wheel spin in racing conditions without being as intrusive as the factory traction control system.  Custom tuning will be required for optimal results but feature sampling is available in the Accessport through "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Enable CCF Traction Control?€? > and setting the value to "1?€?.  Check out this feature in action on SEMA Ford Focus ST.

Change RPM Driving Limit

The Chang RPM Driving Limit feature allows users to place an RPM limit on the fly.  This can be used to prevent over-revving or as a quick and easy substitute to flashing the valet map.  This must be enabled in the map in order to be used.  All OTS v110 maps have this feature enabled!  Note that the limiter is present in the specific map slot enabled when set.  If the slot is changed, the limiter will no longer be present. Custom tunes built on previous versions of Accesstuner will need to be updated for this feature to be used.  This is available in the Accessport through "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Change Driving RPM Limit?€? > and setting the RPM value.

Change Flat Foot Shifting RPM Limit

The Change Flat Foot Shifting RPM Limit feature allows users to set an RPM limiter during flat foot shifting.  This allows users to shift maintaining wide open throttle and preventing over-revving.  Like the previous feature, the limiter is present in the specific map slot enabled when set.  If the slot is changed, the limiter will no longer be present. Custom tunes built on previous versions of Accesstuner will need to be updated for this feature to be used.  This is available in the Accessport through "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Change Flat Foot Shifting RPM Limit?€? > and setting the RPM value.

Change Launch Control RPM Limit

The Change Launch Control RPM Limit feature allows users to modify the RPM setting for the Launch Control feature.  This is a real-time adjustable value for the LC Hard Cut RPM Limit.  Like the previous features, the limiter is present in the specific map slot enabled when set.  If the slot is changed, the limiter will no longer be present. Custom tunes built on previous versions of Accesstuner will need to be updated for this feature to be used.  This is available in the Accessport through "Tune?€? > "Adjustments?€? > "Change Change Launch Control RPM Limit?€? > and setting the RPM value.
