The JW Racing Stage 1 block mod is specifically aimed for those building power on a budget and wanting a preventative measure to protect the block against the dreaded cracked liners. 

Whilst cracks in the cylinders tend to be found more in modified engines, they are common in the Ford Focus ST225 , Mondeo 2.5T and XR5 engines due to it?€?s design style, with an open deck and thin cylinder liners.

The shims we use strengthen the areas prone to cracking and is a perfect piece of mind option especially for those who have spent thousands modifying their cars.
