AP Racing's brake kits offer the ultimate in braking power and technology and have been developed with the benefit of AP Racing's unparalleled experience in motorsport. These kits have been designed for everyday road use and weekend track use. They will reduce braking effort and give more responsive late braking confidence when used on the track. They also resist fade after repeated high speed stops, but are still able to cope with day to day motoring.

All kits are designed to bolt directly to the original set-up, this kit will however require aftermarket 17" wheels.

Please note that the kits supplied by us are genuine AP Racing kits and should not be confused with other cheaper kits that contain many parts from an unknown source and quality.

Brake Calipers: The CP6637 brake calipers used in these kits are derived from a competition brake caliper, using a lightweight aluminium alloy body fitted with the latest aluminium alloy pistons. All AP performance road calipers use conventional seals in conjunction with a dirt seal and are finished with a black PTFE based paint coating which is impervious to normal brake fluids and high brake temperatures. Optional red calipers are also available at extra cost.

Caliper Mounting Brackets: All brackets are individually designed for each application in either hard anodised aluminium or steel. The brackets ensure accurate location of the calipers making installation straight forward.

Brake Discs: The discs used are from the same family as those used in the most extreme racing conditions. This kit contains 315 x 24mm (48 vane) curved groove discs (part number CP4348-940CG12 & CP4348-941CG12).

Mounting Bells: To prevent heat distortion and stress cracking, the special cast iron discs are mounted on lightweight aluminium alloy bells which hard anodised for durability. The bells allow for the tiny amount of flexing required to avoid distortion and also lower the weight of the disc assembly. Each mounting bell is specifically designed for the application.

Brake Pads: This kit is supplied with AP Racing APF404 pads. These are ideally suited for all round performance road use.

Brake Hoses: Goodridge TUV approved steel braided hoses with nylon armour protection are supplied with each kit.

Fixings: Each kit contains a comprehensive installation guide and list of tightening torques. All mounting bolts & nuts are of high tensile steel and come with a sachet of Loctite 262. Shim washers are supplied in each kit to allow accurate positioning of the caliper on the brake disc, and allow for tolerance variations in different hubs/uprights.

Brake Fluid: Included are 2 bottles of AP Racing Formula Dot 5.1 Brake & Clutch Fluid.
