Long awaited and much anticipated , the 70mm throttle body for the Mondeo 2.5T / XR5 is now ready and available.

The OEM throttle body is only 65mm so the extra dimension allows for greater flow especially if the inlet manifold being used is port matched. The Elevate , Mountune, Anembo and Sitech manifolds are all known to have 70mm inlets so this should prove a smooth transition of gas flow and harmonise perfectly with the bigger throttle housing.

Proven already to give better throttle response and smoother delivery this is a worthwhile addition even without revised software calibrations to suit, undoubtedly new software will become available in due course to further improve the benefits of this potentially popular modification.
